As a licensed Judaic Life Specialist and Cantorial Soloist, Iris Jacobs, founder of Hayom, has been helping families in the greater Boston area celebrate Life Cycle Events with joy, music, prayer and song for the last 30 years. Whether welcoming a new baby, helping a child become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah or joining bride and groom together under the chuppah, each Jewish Life Cycle brings the opportunity to personalize the occasion to the individual family.

As director of the Kol Miriam choir and as a soloist and guitarist, Iris is able to enhance worship with a wealth of traditional as well as contemporary Jewish music. The over 700 congregants of the Hayom Unaffiliated High Holy Days services have been enjoying this spirited, yet traditionally-based worship for over 25 years.
